The Psychodelicates
Formed in 2001 by Cody Wren [guitar, vocals] (and henceforth going through many different names) The Psychodelicates also feature Andrew Benrubi, Rob LaFarge on bass, and Brandon Ayres behind the drums. Their sound is usually calm and groovy with psychedelic tones and skewed melodies, influenced especially by Devandra Banhart, the Animal Collective, Acid, and Hollis. However, this band is known to inject plenty of energy into their sets as well. (Look out for the Whiskey Song.) They can often be found jamming acousticly in and around Philadelphia, or riding three people on a bike in and around Drexel Hill.
