about wynne records

Wynne Records is a very tightly knit group of friends putting out music that we love. In less than a year we have been able to build a strong community in the local music scene in suburban Philadelphia, and we are quickly spreading through the city. Our goal is to help create and distribute music we love made by our good friends. We like to keep things local and personal.

Wynne is currently breathing by the efforts of Andrew, Rob, Sam, Hollis, Josh, Joe and occasionally Gabe. We are continuing to develope a more diverse music scene, and in the process, opening alot of minds to new and alternative ways of doing things. We are interested in in local musicians who give heartfelt and high energy performances and take great care in crafting thier songs.

In addition to helping with recording and promoting artists, we serve as a collective of sorts. Wynne is about creating a family, with everyone helping each other out and working on new projects together. We take pride in our bands and back them 100% with what they want to see happen. We encourage lablemates to have fun and be experimental and to forget about "Business." Everyone with Wynne shares strong support for a DIY way of working.

We are no doubt growing. Our artists are performing more and more in basements and small, all aged, diy venues all over the area and we are all making wonderful new friends all of the time.

We plan on continuing in this direction and spreading the positivity!
